Booking privacy notice

Bhali Lhuntian, operated by Bhali Lhuntian Homestay, a business name registered with the DTI (Island Garden City of Samal, Davao del Norte), uses booking information to manage your request, dates, guest counts, selected package and optional services, payment verification, and messages about your stay.

We collect your name, phone, email, requested date, package, guest and pet counts, preferences, consent records, booking reference and payment-reference information. The private owner desk is restricted to authorized operators.

Payment receipts. If you upload a GCash receipt screenshot, an AI service reads it only to pick out the payment reference. Depending on how the site is set up, that service is OpenAI, Google Gemini or Anthropic, and the image is sent to that provider to be read. We keep the receipt only to check your payment. We delete it when your hold ends unpaid or is cancelled, and in any case 90 days after your stay.

Who handles your information. We use Vercel to host the website, Supabase for the booking database and private file storage, Resend to send booking emails, and Slack to alert our team about a new request or receipt. These providers process your information only to run the booking service for us. Some of them store or process data outside the Philippines, so your information may be transferred abroad. We do not sell it.

How long we keep it. We keep booking records (your name, contact details, dates, package, amounts and payments) for as long as we need them to manage bookings and for our bookkeeping and legal obligations.

Payment account details are sent only through approved booking communications; do not submit card details here. We do not sell booking data. Marketing consent is separate from booking communications.

Promotions. We send promos and offers only if you tick the optional box when you book. It is never required to book. To stop, reply STOP to any promo or message us on Messenger, and we remove you from promotions.

Privacy contact. Bhali Lhuntian Homestay, Purok 1A, Mambago B, Babak, Island Garden City of Samal. You can ask to see, correct or delete your details, or withdraw a consent.

Your rights. Under the Data Privacy Act of 2012 (RA 10173) you may ask to access, correct or erase your information, object to its use or withdraw a consent you gave, and complain to the National Privacy Commission (privacy.gov.ph).
